Truth vs opinion. We had a discussion in Mr. B’s class today. Question: Hitler killed over 60,000 Jews: truth or opinion? Question: Hitler was wrong to kill 60,000 Jews: Truth or opinion? And Mr. B answers: truth for both, arousing much anger and craze in the class. But what he says in fact has a lot of truth. But then comes the question of moral truth..is that truth or opinion? And are morals a matter of opinion?

Morals are here based on God’s standards, and that is the truth. But then the class says again, arent morals just a matter of how one perceives it? Well then..to that I would say, there are a set of black and white rules in the Bible that we should abide by. But because humanity is so filled with sin and corruption, we’ve mixed some black and white together to create some gray.. a lot of gray in fact. And that’s what kevin was saying, if you take a girl and put her 20,000 years ago, she would be the worst pagan girl ever with what we wear today. But as the years passed, we’ve become so tolerant and liberal with our standards that we barely have any at all, and we are taught to think that anything that has to do with morality becomes a matter of opinion. but..is it truth? To me it is. That’s why it’s called soul armor, it protects you from the lies of Satan. But so much of the world is so blinded by these lies that they are led to believe that they can change truth based on the way people perceive things.
